May 2013 Fishing Postby babucharters » Mon May 06, 2013 Sandy is behind us, and we are back in the water fishing. Our dock was destroyed, so we did need to change locations slightly, but I'm still only about 10 minutes from most Atlantic city Casinos. Stripers to 35 pounds, Black Drum to 60 pounds, Bluefish from 3 to 10 pounds, and weakfish up to 7 pounds are being caught now. Fluke season will open on Saturday, May 18th, and I'm looking forward to a banner season. On the offshore grounds, Mako will be showing themselves soon, and tuna won't be far behind. The seabass season has not been set yet, but it looks like it will start in mid-May, and then have intermittent openings through December. If you are planning on fishing this season, just give me a call or email. Tightlines, Capt. John Wilkinson www.babucharters.com 410-320-9351
