Striper

New Jersey Striper fishing is some of the best Striper fishing on the Atlantic.   Stripers are typically found along the coast line in shallow waters.   The can be as big as 50 pounds but most are smaller.

Stripers are an aggressive fish that take almost anything you want to throw at it:  bait, lures, flies, etc.   These fish strike hard and put on a very good fight.  The bigger they are the harder the fight.   They are great fun on light tackle.

Being one of Americans most popular game fish there are lots of equipment and tackle designed specifically for them.  There are even some avid fishermen that only like to fish at night for trophy Stripers.

The meat of a Striper is delicious and can be prepared many ways.  Grilled, baked, or field most people enjoy the taste and texture of a Striper.
